Aku agak teruja dan terkejut apabila dapat emel tentang gambar ni. Dikatakan ini adalah keluarga baru Proton yang masih belum diberi nama. Cuma baru-baru ini proton telah mendedahkan rangka keluarga baru proton ini yang diberi kod P3-21A.

Gambar ahli keluarga baru Proton ini kelihatan sporty dan jugak elegen. Tapi adakah ini betul-betul ahli keluarga baru Proton? Sama-sama kita nantikan hari pelancaran rasmi pada Februari tahun depan.

Peugeot 504 Presiden Iran Bernilai Rm 7.5 Juta

Sebuah kereta Peugeot 504 keluaran tahun 1977 milik Presiden Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad dijual pada harga AS$2.5 juta (RM7.5 juta) dalam satu lelongan antarabangsa kelmarin, kata laman web Pertubuhan Kebajikan Iran.

Sebuah syarikat yang membeli kereta itu tidak mahu identitinya didedahkan, kata kenyataan pertubuhan berkenaan selepas lelongan tersebut berlangsung di bandar Abadan, barat daya Iran.

"Klien saya membeli kereta itu kerana meminati Mahmoud yang mengamalkan pendirian yang bencikan keangkuhan dan fahaman Zionisme," kata seorang peguam Mahmoud Esari.

Beliau mewakili syarikat berkenaan untuk membeli kereta itu dalam satu majlis lelongan di Abadan kelmarin.

Pengerusi Pertubuhan Kebajikan Iran, Ahmad Esfandyari memberitahu, lebih sejuta pembida mendaftar di laman web bidaan tersebut.

Katanya, terdapat juga bidaan-bidaan yang datang dari Eropah, Asia dan Amerika Syarikat.

Pada 1 Januari lalu, Mahmoud melancarkan laman web www.ahmadinejad-car.com untuk mengundang bidaan antarabangsa untuk kereta itu.

Hasil jualan kereta tersebut akan digunakan bagi membiayai pembinaan 6,000 kediaman untuk wanita miskin dan golongan tidak berkemampuan. - Kosmo

p/s: bg aku, tujuan utama menjual kereta ni adalah sangat-sangat murni walaupun semua sedia maklum dengan nilai sebenar kereta tersebut. Tetapi atas nama presiden Iran yang sangat dikagumi rakyatnya, kereta tersebut dijual dengan nilai yang sangat tinggi. Semoga rakyat Iran terus sejahtera.

What a nice and pretty car

Awal Januari lalu, Berita Harian melaporkan mengenai rancangan PROTON menggunakan platform Nissan Fuga dengan kapasiti enjin 2.5 liter bagi model yang akan menggantikan Proton Perdana. 

Mengikut laporan yang memetik sumber industri itu, sebagai permulaan Proton akan mengimport 150 unit model berkenaan dari Jepun dan membuat sedikit perubahan dalaman dan luaran untuk dipasarkan khusus untuk kegunaan kereta rasmi pegawai tinggi kerajaan, sebelum dipasarkan secara komersial.

So, kepada sesiapa yang 2 hari lepas tak sempat bayar saman, segera lah berbuat demikian, JANGAN masih nak menunggu 10 Mac baru nak bayar. Kerajaan dah bagi kelonggaran dengan diskaun. Then sekarang ni dilanjutkan lagi tarikh akhir pembayaran. Kalau masih ada yang bagi alasan tak sempat. Ntah la. Rakyat Malaysia dikenali kerana suka sangat buat kerja bayar last minute.

Dr M : Proton Tak Rugi

Prestasi kewangan Proton Holdings Bhd dijangka bertambah baik di dalam tempoh setahun atau dua tahun selepas selesai melaksanakan eksersais penstrukturan semula bahagian kereta sportnya, Lotus Group International Ltd, kata Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad hari ini. 

"Proton tak rugi, dia untung, tapi keuntungan proton kurang kerana kerugian lotus."

"Sebelum kita dapat menstruktur semula, tentu ada kerugian," kata bekas Perdana Menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, yang juga Penasihat Proton kepada pemberita pada Forum Bioteknologi 2011 di sini hari ini.


Pengeluar kereta nasional itu mencatatkan kerugian pracukai RM51.535 juta bagi suku ketiga berakhir 31 Disember, 2010 berbanding dengan keuntungan pracukai RM82.958 juta pada suku yang sama sebelum ini yang sebahagian besarnya berikutan kos penjenamaan semula dan perbelanjaan penstrukturan semula yang dialami oleh bahagian kereta sportnya. 

Perolehan bagi suku itu merosot kepada RM1.833 bilion daripada RM2.013 bilion. 
Syarikat itu melaporkan kemerosotan keuntungan yang sebahagian besarnya berikutan kos penjenamaan yang lebih tinggi serta perbelanjaan penstrukturan semula yang ditanggung oleh Lotus Group. 

Sebagai sebahagian daripada pelan transformasi bagi memulihkan Lotus, kumpulan itu mulai melabur dalam rasionalisasi rangkaian pengedar dan aktiviti penjenamaan bagi melaksanakan pelan perniagaan lima tahun itu.

Proton Rugi Sebelum Cukai

Proton Holdings Bhd mencatatkan kerugian sebelum cukai sebanyak RM51.535 juta bagi suku ketiga yang berakhir pada 31 Disember, 2010 berbanding dengan keuntungan sebelum cukai sebanyak RM82.958 juta pada suku yang sama sebelumnya. 

Perolehan bagi suku berkenaan susut kepada RM1.833 bilion daripada RM2.013 bilion, demikian menurut syarikat itu dalam makluman kepada Bursa Malaysia, hari ini.

Bagi tempoh sembilan bulan, Proton mencatatkan keuntungan sebelum cukai lebih rendah sebanyak RM134.379 juta daripada RM247.989 juta sebelumnya walaupun perolehan naik kepada RM6.363 bilion daripada RM5.969 bilion.

"Penurunan dalam keuntungan terutamanya disebabkan oleh kos penjenamaan yang lebih tinggi, serta perbelanjaan penstrukturan semula oleh Lotus Group International Ltd. 

"Sebagai sebahagian pelan transformasi pemulihan Lotus, kumpulan mula melabur dalam perasionalan rangkaian pengedar dan aktiviti penjemanaan bagi menyampaikan pelan perniagaan lima tahun," katanya. 

Ia berkata pada suku ketiga, kumpulan mengalami jumlah jualan domestik yang lebih rendah dan peningkatan perbelanjaan promosi dan pemasaran oleh anak syarikat prinsipal. 

Mengenai masa depan, syarikat itu berkata: "Tinjauan masa depan pasaran domestik dan kenaikan harga bahan api memberi faedah kepada model teras Proton.

3 Tahun Diharamkan Memasuki Venice

Sebuah kereta dipandu melalui jejantas yang khas untuk pejalan kaki bagi menyeberangi terusan air di bandar ini kelmarin, lapor sebuah akhbar semalam.

Kereta Volkswagen Polo itu melalui jejantas tersebut pada awal pagi.

Bagaimanapun, empat orang berusia dalam lingkungan 20-an yang berada di dalam kereta itu memutuskan untuk mengambil jalan pintas dengan melalui jejantas tersebut.

Satu rakaman kamera litar tertutup merakamkan pergerakan kereta tersebut yang melalui jejantas itu.

Keempat-empat orang itu ditangkap polis semasa mereka kembali untuk menaiki kereta tersebut selepas bersiar-siar di kawasan berhampiran.

Semasa disoal siasat, keempat-empat orang itu memberikan alasan jejantas itu digunakan kerana mereka mahu menemui rakan dalam tempoh yang singkat.

Pihak berkuasa kemudian melarang mereka kembali ke Venice selama tiga tahun disebabkan perbuatan tersebut. - Kosmo

Kereta Kebal era 60-an diletak Ditepi Jalan

Sebuah kereta kebal milik seorang penduduk diparkir di tepi jalan di luar rumahnya di sini, lapor sebuah akhbar semalam.

Tindakan pemilik kereta kebal itu meletakkan kereta kebal tersebut di tepi jalan telah menyebabkan jiran-jirannya marah.

Jiran-jirannya itu mengadu kereta kebal itu 'menyakitkan mata' mereka kerana ia menjejaskan pemandangan yang indah di kawasan berkenaan.

Namun, pemilik kereta kebal seberat empat tan itu, Nicholas Kravchenko menegaskan, tidak ada undang-undang yang melarang beliau meletakkan kereta kebal tersebut di tepi jalan.

Beliau yang merupakan bekas jurutera tentera membeli kereta kebal era tahun 1960-an itu daripada Kementerian Pertahanan pada harga lebih £10,000 (RM49,545).

Menurutnya, kereta kebal itu mempunyai kelajuan 32.10 kilometer sejam. - Kosmo

Harga Petrol RON95 dan Diesel Kekal

Kerajaan mengekalkan harga runcit semasa petrol bersubsidi, RON95 pada RM1.90 dan diesel pada RM1.80 walaupun harga minyak mentah dunia terus meningkat, kata Menteri Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. 

Beliau berkata, berikutan keputusan itu pihaknya sedang berbincang dengan Kementerian Kewangan untuk mencari alternatif bagi menampung peningkatan itu.

“Setakat ini, kerajaan tidak mahu menambah beban ditanggung rakyat dan kerajaan masih boleh bertahan dengan mengekalkan harga minyak RON95 dan diesel," katanya pada sidang media selepas mengumumkan keputusan kewangan 2010 Bank Rakyat di sini, semalam.

Katanya, alternatif terpaksa dicari segera bagi mengelak kerajaan menanggung subsidi mencecah RM14 bilion tahun ini, sedangkan kerajaan memperuntukkan bajet RM10.3 bilion bagi semua subsidi termasuk minyak, gas memasak, gula, beras dan minyak masak. - Berita Harian

Kubica starts rehabilitation programme

Renault’s Robert Kubica has been transferred from intensive care to the rehabilitation department of Italy’s Santa Corona Hospital as he continues to recover from the injuries he sustained in a rally accident earlier this month.

“He is doing pretty well and his condition is positive considering what he has been through,” the hospital’s Dr Rossello told Renault’s official website on Tuesday. “He can move his fingers slightly and has a little bit of sensitivity already in his hand. What is very important is that there is no sign of infection, which is the main concern. 

“He no longer needs intensive care so he has begun the rehabilitation process. He is now in his own large room so that he is as comfortable as possible. He has already started some gentle hand exercises with the slight flexing of his fingers. He’s no longer in pain and his psychological condition is pretty good. He’s obviously keen to start the rehabilitation work as soon as possible.”

The Polish driver is expected to stay in the hospital’s rehabilitation department for at least a fortnight.

“For the next couple of weeks, he will stay here so we can monitor his condition,” added Rossello. “During that time there is still the possibility of infection and other complications so he will have the dressings on his hand changed every few days. After two weeks we will assess his next move.”

With Kubica expected to miss much of the 2011 Formula One season, Nick Heidfeld, Kubica's former team mate at BMW Sauber, has taken over driving duties for Renault alongside Vitaly Petrov.
